Winter 2015 saw us working closely with Ballarat Regional Tourism to create the Winterlude campaign, designed to engage locals and attract Metro visitors to Ballarat during the winter months. A fantastic opportunity for a 360 degree brand experience, from creating the Winterlude brand identity and illustrative visual language, through to multiple outdoor signage and two animated TV commercials.

The creative exuded warmth and a sense of fun, bringing the Ballarat street scape to life, giving all the major tourist attractions unique personalities. Outdoor advertising was striking with the City of Ballarat's Cubes, Flags and billboards, not to mention the 25m ice rink signage - Winterlude was hard to ignore!

Our TVC's brought the illustrations to life with magical sounds and animation, something to please all the kids - big and small.

Lastly, we created a light display, projected onto the Town Hall every evening during the winter festival. This 4 minute projection using the Winterlude creative, interacted with the architecture of one of Ballarat's most beautiful and historic buildings.

This inaugural Winterlude festival has been a great success with high visitor numbers having enticed both residents and visitors to embrace winter weather and come and have some fun.
