In 2015 we were approached by one of Ballarat’s most established printing businesses; King Print to work on a full service communications campaign to reposition their business. After undertaking a complete audit of their communications, website and all customer touch points, we developed a communications strategy for a brand ‘evolution’ including a name change. This decision was not taken lightly, but with thorough planning and development of a change program, we embarked on the transformation.

Revolution Print was born and with it a complete brand experience, including creating our Revolution ‘Minions’ who have become the vehicle to connect the customer to the business. With most of the transactions made online, we felt the brand needed something to reconnect with their customers, allowing the fun and energetic personalities of the business owners to shine through.

A new website was designed and built (including integration with the OPS online ordering system), the new branding and language applied to all areas of customer touch points including signage, packaging, email communications, and more. An animated TVC was launched, to announce the new name with a good dose of cheeky humour.

Revolution Print have recorded an extremely busy few months, with sales significantly up on the same time the previous year. There were no customer losses over the period of change, and early numbers predict an increase in their database from both Regional and Metro clientele.
