BALLARAT REGIONAL TOURISM

This was the inaugural year of the Ballarat Season of the Arts (SOTA) campaign - a creative designed to act as an umbrella brand for the multi-faceted arts festival. The challenge was to create something that would have cross-demographic appeal and be flexible enough to promote a variety of events from cabaret, photography and art.

A local artist was chosen to create a bespoke piece of art which we then animated to produce a ‘living’ work, for the TV campaign and social media. We also created an original music score and sound design, composed to the animation, with a musical beat, punctuated with SFX relating to the arts festival.

It’s a bold statement, one which appealed to the target audience and showcased Ballarat for having a vibrant and exciting arts culture.
